Skateparks reconstruction

Skateparks reconstruction

The lifetime of wooden or metal skateparks, where the obstacles are placed on asphalt or concrete flat surfaces, is usually no more than 5 or 6 years. After this time, the question arises of whether to reconstruct the structure and surface barriers or to build a new skatepark. The substrate surface is usually sufficiently well established to meet the demands of the concrete skatepark construction.

The reconstruction is an extension and modelling of new shapes and obstacles in the existing flat base surface. It is possible to use three basic technologies of a new base material under concrete: formwork, polystyrene, or modelling of crushed gravel. All of them are subsequently armoured. This way we have reconstructed skateparks in Opava, Ostrava Poruba and Polish Tychy. All you need to do, to start a complete reconstruction of the already unsatisfactory skatepark to the new concrete skatepark, is to notify the relevant authorities.
